Tye Chua Dance tuition assistance is reviewed individually and confidentially. Awards are based primarily on financial need, with consideration given to the student’s proposed training, commitment to consistent participation, individual circumstances, and the scholarship funding available for the season.

Who May Apply?
New and current Tye Chua Dance families are welcome to apply. There is no single family profile that determines eligibility, and families should not assume they will not qualify before sharing their circumstances with us.

Assistance may be appropriate whenever the full cost of consistent dance training would create a meaningful financial strain for a student or family.

Financial need is the primary consideration. We also look at the dancer’s proposed training needs, the family’s individual circumstances, and the tuition-assistance funding available for the season.

The amount of assistance we can provide depends in part upon studio resources and donated scholarship funds available during the current season.
How Tuition Assistance Works
Applying is straightforward. Share the information that helps us understand your family’s circumstances and the training assistance being requested, and we will review the application thoughtfully and privately.
Complete an Application
Submit one tuition-assistance application for each dancer requesting support. Provide the requested information as fully and honestly as possible so we can understand your family’s circumstances and training needs.
Confidential Review
We consider financial need, the dancer’s appropriate training schedule, relevant family circumstances, and the studio and donated tuition-assistance funds available for the season.
Receive a Decision
Families are contacted privately with the outcome of the review, including the amount of assistance available and any information needed to move forward with enrollment.
Complete Registration
Once assistance has been confirmed, complete registration for the appropriate classes and follow any instructions provided for applying the award to the dancer’s account.
