More Than a Studio

Serious Training.
Genuine Belonging.

High standards and a warm studio culture are not opposites. Our dancers are challenged thoughtfully, known individually, and encouraged to develop technique, artistry, confidence, and curiosity.

01

Professional Experience

Students learn from faculty whose professional backgrounds in performance, teaching, and choreography bring depth and perspective to every class.

02

Individual Attention

Thoughtful placement, meaningful corrections, and a clear progression help each dancer build strong foundations and continue growing safely.

03

Performance With Purpose

Rehearsal and performance opportunities help dancers turn technique into artistry while learning collaboration, responsibility, and stagecraft.

Training That Travels With You

Start Here. Go Anywhere.

Strong training creates possibilities. For some dancers, that path leads to conservatories, colleges, summer intensives, professional companies, and careers in the arts. For others, it becomes a lifelong source of discipline, confidence, creativity, and joy. Wherever a dancer is headed, the foundation built here continues far beyond the studio.

A Living Ballet Legacy

More Than Sixty Years of Ballet in Kalamazoo.

Since 1965, generations of dancers have grown up in these studios—learning the discipline of classical ballet, discovering their own artistry, and carrying their training into lives both within and far beyond the stage.

Our history is not something preserved behind glass. It is a living tradition, passed from teacher to dancer and continually renewed through thoughtful training, ambitious performance, and a community that makes room for each new generation.

Access & Opportunity

Dance Should Be Within Reach.

Talent, curiosity, and the desire to dance are not limited by financial circumstances, access to dancewear, or previous performance experience. We work to remove barriers wherever possible so more dancers can participate fully.

Performance Opportunity

Everyone May Perform

Company participation is open to dancers who want to perform. We do not require dancers to audition for Company membership; auditions are held for individual roles so productions can be cast thoughtfully and appropriately.

Performance With Purpose Rehearsal and performance are treated as meaningful parts of a dancer’s education.
