—Tye Chua Dance Company—

Tye Chua Dance Company gives dancers the opportunity to bring their training to the stage through thoughtfully curated performances and dedicated rehearsal work. From our youngest Junior Company members to our Advanced Company dancers, students learn professionalism, artistry, and ensemble collaboration in a supportive and high-expectation environment. Company dancers perform up to four times per year and represent the highest levels of commitment within our studio community.

  • Junior Company is the first step into the world of performance at Tye Chua Dance. Dancers in Ballet III are eligible to join and will participate in three major productions each year:
    The Nutcracker
    Choreography Showcase
    Spring Ballet

Rehearsals are held weekly and focus on ensemble work, musicality, stage presence, and performance etiquette. Junior Company gives young dancers the experience of being part of a cast while building their confidence and artistry.

Tuition: $600/year (billed monthly at $66.67 over 9 months)
Family Rate: Tuition is per family. Additional siblings join at no extra cost.
Placement: Open to dancers registered in Ballet III.

  • Advanced Company is open to dancers in Ballet IV, Ballet V, and Advanced who are ready to take on a deeper commitment to their training and performance experience. These dancers rehearse weekly for four annual productions:

    The Nutcracker
    Choreography Showcase
    Spring Ballet
    Summer Showcase

Rehearsals are designed to match the dancer’s level—Ballet IV dancers focus on building ensemble skills and stage presence, while Ballet V and Advanced dancers work on refined technique, pointe repertoire, and more complex choreography.

Advanced Company dancers are expected to demonstrate professionalism, consistency, and a love for the work. This is where dancers transform training into artistry.

Tuition: $700/year (billed monthly at $77.78 over 9 months)
Family Rate: Tuition is per family. Additional siblings join at no extra cost.
Placement: Open to dancers registered in Ballet IV, V, or Advanced

  • Adult Company offers experienced and passionate adult dancers the opportunity to rehearse and perform in full-length productions alongside our student company. This is a welcoming but focused environment for adults who want to return to the stage, continue performing, or try it for the first time with community and support.

Adult Company dancers perform in up to three productions per year:
    The Nutcracker
    Choreography Showcase
    Summer Showcase

Rehearsals are scheduled separately from student company rehearsals and focus on choreography, musicality, and performance quality. Roles are tailored to each dancer’s ability, experience, and availability.

    Participation Fee: $125 per production
Covers all rehearsals, coaching, and costume usage

No auditions—just a commitment to rehearsal, teamwork, and the joy of performing. Adult dancers are welcome whether they train regularly or are returning after time away.

  • Workshop Dancers are our youngest performers—students in Pre-Ballet through Ballet II—who may be invited to participate in select productions throughout the season, including The Nutcracker and other special performances.

These roles are designed to introduce young dancers to the stage in an age-appropriate, low-pressure way, with short rehearsals and plenty of support.

Participation is by invitation, based on readiness, focus in class, and availability. Rehearsals are held separately from Company and are scheduled around the dancer’s regular classes.

Participation Fee: Varies per production (typically $50–$100)
Includes all rehearsals and costume usage
